On Monday, August 22nd, 2016 Dr. Ahmad H. Ibrahim, the director of the International Relations, represented the University of Zakho in the meeting with the American knowledge International school in the city of Zakho. The Knowledge International School in Zakho is licensed and recognized by the Ministry of Education in Kurdistan Iraq.

The meeting was with Dr. R.G. Rick, Yetes, who has a Ph.D in chemical engineering and the principal of the school. The main points of the discussion were about the activities, campus and facilities of the University of Zakho and vice-versa, Knowledge School facilities and activities and how the Americans style education enhances the development of the thinking process for our students like critical and creative thinking, implement the methods and bring success, avoid the behavior that causes failure. In addition, the discussion were about the future plans between the University of Zakho and Knowledge School such as the Big Brother Program between the talented students from the University of Zakho and from the Knowledge School and some other related activities will be discussed with the University of Zakho’s colleges and departments like advanced curriculum, English teaching and Related programs.
